We are excited to announce that this is Direct Support Professionals Week. Across the country, it’s a wonderful opportunity to recognize the dedication of our hardworking direct support professionals to the people we serve.
In Governor Braun’s proclamation, he noted that Indiana has over 32,000 men and women working as DSPs, providing critical services and support to thousands of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
These essential services empower individuals to Dream it. Live it. each day. Our DSPs perform a range of functions from personal care to help in navigating employment opportunities to securing medical care and services.
