Noble is proud to announce the winners of this year’s 2026 Annual Awards presented by Citizens Energy Group, Corteva Agriscience and Gregory & Appel.
The official award announcement was made on the back cover of the Oct. 23 issue of the Indianapolis Business Journal.
The President’s Award–our highest honor–was awarded to Mark Bruin. A Board Member for many years, Mark also serves as the board’s Vice Chair/Secretary and has stewarded The National Bank of Indianapolis‘ sponsorship of our events.
This year’s Champion Award was given to The Arc of Indiana for their consistent and impactful work in advocating the rights and needs of people with disabilities at the local, state and federal levels.
The Partnership Award was presented to the Sertoma Club of Broad Ripple. Since the club’s inception in 1958, they have focused their fundraising efforts on supporting our mission, raising over $2.5 million for Noble over the years.
This year’s Lifetime of Giving Award goes to Big Red Liquors. For over 10 years, Big Red has served as title sponsor of our Noble Evening in the Garden held every March as the preview gala to the Indiana Flower and Patio Show. Earlier this year, Big Red initiated a round-up campaign for Noble, generating significantly more funds for our mission.
The 2026 Employment Award is being given to Culver’s on State Highway 135 in Greenwood. They have hired two young men through Noble’s employment services and have truly encouraged their growth and development through their family-like workplace culture.
The Citizenship Award goes to Kala Woods for all she does to effectively advocate for herself and others, contributing to a positive atmosphere of growth and friendship.
The Noble Auxiliary Member of the Year is Lisa Juberg. Lisa was chosen by her fellow Auxiliary members to recognize the many years of dedicated effort she has contributed to the successful presentation of our annual Evening in the Garden.
We are proud to recognize this year’s Marissa Manlove Distinguished Service Award winner, Matt Tarowsky. For over 20 years, Matt has worked hard to empower individuals to further their career aspirations as part of the Noble Employment and Workforce Services (N.E.W.S.) team at Corteva Agrisciences.
The Harriet P. Irsay Distinguished Parent Award goes to Yolanda S. Roland-Powell. As a mother, she is an incredible advocate not only for her daughter but for all individuals with disabilities.
Finally, we are proud to honor the Ability Experience with the 2026 Volunteer of the Year Award. Each year, they organize the Journey of Hope teams of college cyclists to bike across the country, raising funds and awareness for people with disabilities. We look forward to our annual Friendship Visit with them each summer.
