How We Help
Those First Three Years Are Key
Learning and development occur most rapidly from birth to age three. That is why it is important to give our community’s children the best start possible. The earlier children with a disability or a developmental delay are diagnosed and get help, the better their ultimate quality of life.
The brain makes so many connections during the first three years. That’s why Noble Kids/First Steps uses fun, play-based activities to help children reach their full potential through Developmental, Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapies. Our experienced therapists work with the whole family in their home or daycare because the best outcomes happen in the child’s natural environment.
Our Therapies and Goals

Speech Therapy focuses on both expressive (being able to speak so others understand) as well as receptive (understanding what others are saying) communication as well as other oral motor skills.

Developmental Therapy uses play based activities to help children with social interaction, problem solving and self-care as well as supporting speech and gross motor skills.

OT develops adaptive and self-help skills with a focus on developing skills related to sensory-motor integration, coordination of movement, fine motor skills, self-help skills (including feeding), and may include adaptive devices or equipment to help the child in these activities.

In physical therapy, we focus on gross motor skills and the ability to move and effectively use his/her arms, legs, trunk, and head.

Do you have questions about your child’s development?
It’s natural for parents to want to know if their child is developing at the right pace. While each child develops differently, our Developmental Checklist offers some guidelines on key milestones to look for and the age range at which children typically reach them.
